This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which G2P Solutions LLC ("G2P Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users ("User," "you," or "your") of our mobile application Flaky ("App"). 1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
When you use our App, we may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including but not limited to:
- Your phone number
- Your name
- Your zip code (optional)
- Your profile picture (optional)
We also collect and store the content you create in the App, including events you organize (their names, dates, descriptions, and the locations or addresses you enter), the contact groups ("bubbles") you create, your invitations and RSVP responses, and the messages and photos you send in event chats.
1.2 Device Information
We may also collect certain information about your device, such as:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- Unique device identifier
- Mobile network information
- A push notification token, used to deliver notifications to your device
1.3 Permissions
The App may request access to certain features of your device, including:
- Access to your contacts: With your permission, the App reads your device's address book and sends your contacts' phone numbers only — not names, emails, or any other contact details — to our servers to determine which of your contacts already use Flaky. This list is processed transiently for matching and is not stored on our servers. If you invite a contact to an event or add them to a bubble, the phone number you hold for them — and, for bubbles, the name you have saved for them — is stored as part of that event or bubble. Access to your contacts is voluntary and requires your explicit consent.
- Access to your phone camera: This allows you to take and upload a profile picture or share photos in event chats. Access to your camera is voluntary and requires your explicit consent.
- Push notifications: We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.
1.4 Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services, including:
- Firebase Authentication (Google LLC): We use Firebase Authentication to securely authenticate users and manage user accounts.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): Used to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Cloudinary: Profile pictures and photos shared in event chats are uploaded to and hosted by Cloudinary, an image hosting service.
- Google Maps Platform: The App uses Google Maps to display event locations and suggest addresses. We do not collect your device's GPS location; event addresses you type when creating an event are stored as part of that event. Your use of Google Maps features is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Access to native SMS app: The App may open your device's SMS app with a pre-filled message, for example to invite contacts who are not on Flaky yet. The message is sent from your device by you; we do not read your SMS messages.
1.5 Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union and the United Kingdom), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in section 13 and we will delete it.

2.1 We may use the information collected from you for the following purposes:
- To provide and improve the services offered through the App
- To personalize your experience
- To communicate with you, including responding to inquiries, requests, and feedback
- To comply with legal obligations
3. How We Protect Your Information
3.1 We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and data stored on our servers.
4. Sharing Your Personal Information
4.1 We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to third parties, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

5.1 You have the right to:
- Request access to and information about the personal information we have collected about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal information we have about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Request restriction of, or object to, our processing of your personal information
- Receive a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time where our processing is based on your consent (for example, by disabling contacts or camera access in your device settings), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
5.2 To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in section 13. If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
6. How We Process Your Information
6.1 We process your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users located in the European Union (EU).
6.2 Your information may be processed for the following purposes:
- Providing and improving the services offered through the App
- Personalizing your experience
- Communicating with you
- Complying with legal obligations
6.3 We may process your information through automated means, including but not limited to algorithms and machine learning, to improve the functionality and performance of the App.
7. Server Location and Cross-Border Transfers
7.1 The servers that process and store your information are located in the United States ("US").
7.2 If you use the App from outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework certifications of our service providers and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7.3 Users located in the United Kingdom ("UK") and the European Union ("EU") are advised that the US may not have data protection laws that are equivalent to those in the UK or EU. However, we take appropriate measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7.4 We may transfer your information to third-party service providers or partners located outside the US for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When transferring your information to such third parties, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Legal Bases for Processing Your Information

8.1.1 Consent
We may process your information based on your consent, which you provide voluntarily when using the App. For example, you provide consent when you enable specific features that require access to your device's functionalities, such as your contacts or camera. You may withdraw consent at any time.
8.1.2 Contractual Necessity
We may process your information to perform our obligations under the terms of service or other agreements with you. For example, we process your contact information to create and manage your user account and provide the services offered through the App.
8.1.3 Legitimate Interests
We may process your information based on our legitimate interests, provided that such processing does not outweigh your rights and freedoms. Our legitimate interests may include improving the functionality and performance of the App, preventing fraud and abuse, and ensuring the security of our systems and users' information.
8.1.4 Legal Compliance
We may process your information to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests from government authorities, enforcing our legal rights, or investigating and preventing illegal activities.
9. Third-Party Services and Other Disclosures
9.1 We may share your personal information with third parties in the following circumstances:
9.1.1 Business Transfer
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice within the App of any change in ownership or use of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
9.1.2 Service Providers
We use Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication and push notification delivery, and Cloudinary for image hosting, as described in section 1.4. These providers process your information on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies and appropriate data protection terms. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.
9.1.3 Google Maps Platform API
The App may use Google Maps Platform API to provide location-based services, such as displaying maps and suggesting addresses. When you use features of the App that require access to Google Maps, the queries you make may be processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
9.1.4 Other Users
The App facilitates communication and networking among users, and certain information you provide may be visible to other users of the App. For example, your name and profile picture may be displayed to other users in connection with your interactions within the App, and the content of events, bubbles, and chats is visible to their participants. Please exercise caution when sharing personal information with other users and review our Terms and Conditions for guidelines on appropriate conduct.
10. Retention of Your Information
10.1 We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
10.2 The specific retention period for your information may vary depending on the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is processed. In general:
- 10.2.1 We retain your account information, such as your name and contact details, for as long as you maintain an active account with the App.
- 10.2.2 We may retain certain information for a longer period if necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights and interests.
- 10.2.3 If you request deletion of your account or your information, we will promptly delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, unless retention of such information is necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention.
10.3 After the expiration of the retention period, we will securely delete or anonymize your personal information in a manner that prevents it from being reconstructed or retrieved.
11. Request to Delete
11.1 If you choose to delete your account, you have the right to request the deletion of all data associated with your account from our servers. You can delete your account directly in the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or request deletion at flaky-app.com/delete-account.html.
11.2 Deletion of your account will result in the permanent removal of all data associated with your account, including your profile, any events and bubbles you created, your RSVP responses, and the messages you sent in event chats.
11.3 Please note that deletion of your account is irreversible, and once your account and associated data have been deleted, they cannot be recovered.
11.4 Information that other users provided from their own address books is part of those users' own records and is not deleted with your account — for example, your phone number may remain in another user's event invite list, contact groups ("bubbles"), or invitation history, just as it may remain in their device's address book. Copies of photos you uploaded may also remain in the systems of our image-hosting provider after your account data is deleted.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
12.1 G2P Solutions has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
